Zhao Pu
Zhao Pu is a renowned Chinese host, cultural communicator, and author. He was a longtime anchor on China Central Television’s news channel, hosting flagship programs such as Morning News and Evening News. After leaving CCTV in 2015, Zhao shifted his focus to promoting traditional Chinese culture and craftsmanship, initiating and championing the Chinese Artisans Conference — a platform for cultural exchange across disciplines.
As the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the World Craft Forum (WCF), Zhao Pu is dedicated to building bridges for international artisan dialogue and cooperation. He advocates for the preservation and innovation of traditional craftsmanship, interpreting the contemporary relevance of artisanal heritage with a global perspective.
